Why do I collect? That's easy... because it's so much fun! Ever since I can remember I have been going to flea markets, antique shops, yard sales, you name it. Wherever I could find some sort of interesting treasure or cool piece of junk! I love driving around in search of new places or revisiting my favorite spots. I come from a family of collectors and have lived amongst antiques and collectibles my whole life. I have a passion for decorating especially with things that I find in my travels or even things found in the trash... which by the way can be some of the best stuff! But for those who share the same passion, I don't have to tell you... you all know what fun it is and how addicting it can be! Here I will share my collections, interesting finds, decorating tips, photos, projects, friends collections and thoughts and whatever else I may find along the way.

SUNDAY YARD SALE FIND
After leaving the flea market empty handed...
stopped at a great yard sale... Nice wire plant stand
These old blue glass mason jars have many uses. I have them filled with clothes pins and displayed in my laundry room window. More fun!
A FIND
Can't have enough chairs! And the best ones are found in the garbage of course! I came across 2 of these vintage kitchen chairs. They were pretty beat up so I stripped and painted them. They came out great!
PORTRAITS
I love vintage portraits but also have some that are not vintage. They look great in groupings, unframed! Fun!
PROJECT
Paint something GREEN! Another little table found in the trash!
ARTWORK
A nice thing about being an artist is that most of my friends are artists and I enjoy collecting their artwork. A great way to showcase their work is to make interesting groupings throughout your home!
DISPLAY IDEA
Hang groups of vintage restaurant china. A fun way to showcase your favorite pieces.
WEIRD?
I don't know what got me started collecting these mini chamber pots but as you can see I've got tons of them! They have sayings on them like "Go Way Back and Sit Down", "Morning Exercise", "Evening Exercise", "The Daily Bank", The Family Physician" and more... and some have an eye on the inside bottom and others have a little pig sitting inside with it's head sticking out. They range in size from about 3 inches to about an inch tall. Marked made in Germany or Japan. FUN!
DISPLAY IDEA
Mix art in with your collections!
DISPLAY IDEA
This small glass display case is actually from Pottery Barn (circa 1995!) and is a great way to show off these vintage poker chips and games.
DISPLAY IDEA
Showcase small pieces of colorful pottery on a vintage wire shelf.
DISPLAY IDEA
An old jar makes a great display for this vintage gum wrapper chain!
DISPLAY IDEA
Old stained glass windows look great hanging in windows. My favorites are the smallest ones... cottage size windows.
Another cottage size stained glass window which I found at a flea market.
