SUNDAY at JAKE'S

It was a beautiful and hot Sunday at Jake's Flea Market.

And, it was in full swing! Love it!

Even though there was so much stuff

I only came home with these 2 Haeger planters which I love.

I have the same one in green and

found one in grey a few weeks ago!

Also got these Miller Studio chalkware fruit 

wall plaques in mint condition!

Took a ride out to Paradise / Strasburg, PA.

Crackleberry Antique Mall was awesome! So much to see!

My restaurant china collection… rearranged for the new year!

Just finished painting our dining room. 

This is only one of the collections that is in there! There's more!

Took me hours to put it all back… but that was the fun part!

Lamp Update...

Here's an update from my September post.

I originally wanted to hold out for vintage shades for

these pink lamps and found a perfect pair on eBay.

Mint condition, mid-century tall shades in off white and gold.

I was so excited to get them and when they arrived the box

was smashed and they were completely damaged. :-(

So, here we go… "new" shades and newly rewired lamps.

I like! :-)

It was tough to find the right shade for this little lamp too.

I am still searching but for now I found this cute

off white burlap shade. The pattern of the burlap picks

up the pattern on the lamp. All rewired and looking very cute. :-)

Trash = Treasure: Last find of 2014!

Found this perfect wire plant stand

in someone's trash last week! Yay!
